On World Health Day we, nations, and organizations alike are prevalent to reflect and focus on aiming at achieving universal health care. On that day in the year 2024, let's join hands and breathe fresh air on a healthier planet for the better generations of the planet.


All the years, on the 7th of April, the world commemorates World Health Day and aims to motivate people to have healthy lifestyles and to draw international attention to various health issues. The topic of World Health Day 2024 is ' My health, my right.' Let's now commemorate World Health Day and talk about a few lifestyle modifications we can make for our overall good health, the health of our heart, kidneys, and brain among others. A better life can be lived by making small daily life changes, whether concerning health, stress, relationships, resources, climate, or others. Optimal Nutrition: With regard to health as it is, the saying "you are what you eat" is spot-on. Ingesting whole and fresh food-based menus always comes on top if you want to sustain the good health of your kidneys, heart, and your brain. Be careful about including important nutrients in your diet by taking vitamins and minerals and adding fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts, seeds, and lean proteins like poultry to your routine diet.


Sufficient Sleep: Enough sleep is really the bedrock of health. Multiple studies have proven that sleep deprivation actions heart function and impacts immunity, leading to cholesterol accumulation in arteries. You can optimize your sleep hygiene by maintaining a realistic sleep schedule and avoiding the use of vigilant factors just before going to bed. Stay Away from Hazardous Substances: Nicotine, which comes naturally with tobacco and its varieties like cigarettes, adversely affects the health of our brain, heart, and lung system. Limit Drugs and Alcohol: Moderation is essential one should not indulge in recreational drug and alcohol abuse excessively as it can be as detrimental as it is to the brain, liver, and heart.
